This means that after 50,000 hours of use, at least 90% of the LEDs will still be operating at 80% of their initial brightness. In perspective, if your LED closet lights are on for an average of 3 hrs/day, they could last for over 45 years! If they are in a high-traffic area & run for 8 hrs/day, the expected lifespan is still more than 17 years
